I read. I write.
I share things.
Nice to meet you.
Hello, I’m Nicole! I’m a writer based in Calgary, AB, crafting romance, romantic comedy, and occasionally dipping into creative non-fiction. Blurring the lines between fiction and reality is my forte, often weaving elements of both into my stories, drawing heavily from my own life experiences to create narratives that feel incredibly authentic yet maintain a fictional framework.
I am currently working on a novel, HOW TO FALL IN LOVE IN MELBOURNE, and hope to start querying soon.
My writing journey has seen me published in the WonderShift - 40th Anniversary Anthology of the Alexandra Writers Centre for my short story titled “Becoming.” Additionally, I've co-authored two papers for the International Pipeline Conference (IPC) and contributed articles to the Young Women in Energy blog. I also wrote and self-published a children’s book titled “When I Grow Up.”
As staff, and a proud member of the Alexandra Writers Centre Society, I thrive on creativity and connection, soaking up inspiration from fellow wordsmiths and sharing my own literary adventure.
Thanks for stopping by!
